Happy Birthday to ME!

This Saturday is my birthday :) I will be 26! I have a couple of dinner dates planned, one with my sisters and one with my love & the kiddos. Will probably spend some time with my mom & grammy too. Mucho fun & PRESENTS!

My Baby is No Baby

My baby will be one in less than a month but she is far beyond that! She got her first two teeth when she was only two months, she now has sixteen at eleven months! She started crawling when she was five months and walking when she was eight months! I know...she looked like a doll running around! By ten months she said and KNEW who dada and mama were! Well, Monday my stepson, Alex, moved in with us :) and I yelled "Alex" and you know this little girl yelled out "Aleh" (she can't say the x). I was so proud of her! When she learns new things we clap & cheer and now she will do that herself. When she figures out her different toys she claps and does a little dance :)
She brings me so much joy and happiness!

OMG...Cheesecake Pops!

My husband's all time favorite dessert is cheesecake and I found a recipe for cheesecake pops at www.bakerella.blogspot.com I will be experiment on them this week & I may make a few for Arianna's 1st birthday...wish me luck :)

Momma & Baby are busy busy busy!!!

So, I just helped out with my friend, Asia's babyshower and guess what...another one! Yep, my best cuz (more like sister!) is expecting a baby boy too in September. Her babyshower is August 15th and I'm a host!
&& Arianna's 1st birthday party is August 29th! Which I basically am planning solo (let me tell you why daddy isn't involved....this past weekend I simply asked him to get me nine balloons, three sets of three, all DIFFERENT COLORS!!! What does he get me, three sets of three with only three different colors! And I was already going insane with eight girls (ages 9-12) and two babies (my daughter & nephew) plus my two little sisters (ages 19 & 24) who wouldn't lift a finger unless it was to eat! And this was just a slumber party...I would have bit his head off if it had been Arianna's birthday because I already know I will be walking around like a mad woman!)
August 8th is my cousins daughters' birthday party (3 girls...3 presents...$$$)!
August 1st is my birthday but who's gonna have time for that! :(
I am also the matron of honor for my bff and she wants to go look for my dress the weekend before Arianna's birthday (August 22nd)...i don't know about that!
September is pretty clear other than my sisters' birthdays but that should be okay. Simple lil bbq and we'll call it a day!
Ugh...then here comes October and Adrianna already said she wants me to plan her 10th birthday...she wants it to be a costume party but that may change by October.
AND I have to do my bff's (Krystal) bachelorette party...don't even know where to start...

Polka Dots & Cupcake Slumber Party

This past weekend was the girls' slumber party. It turned out great....



We started off by spliting up into 2 teams and my sisters (they helped me out) took 4 girls and I took the other 4 and we did a sort of scavenger hunt. We made a list of things to do, here's a few pics of what the girls had to do...

Then my wonderful hubby bbq'd us up some mini-burgers and fried us some fries...

Diaper cake for Asia Rae

This past weekend was my friend Asia's babyshower & I finally made my first diaper cake. It turned out great! It was just a small one but it was sooooo cute! Unfortunately my camera went dead & I couldn't get a pic but I'm hoping Asia took a pic of it so that I will be able to share it!

So my husband and I started back up this past thursday, it's been a year & a half since we've been members (WOW...too long!). (He actually has last 60lbs since we started way back when & has been doing mostly weight lifting but wanted to join back for the cardio. I started back working out about a month and a half ago & have lost 13lbs doing lots of park walking.) Anyway, went thursday, friday & sunday and I am LOVIN' IT! I can't believe it took this long to join up again! We're trying to make it at least 5 days a week...hopefully my lil sis and mother-in-law will continue to support us by watching our lil one.

PARTIES, BIRTHDAYS, WEDDING, ANNIVERSARY...

I finally joined the gym again yesterday. First workout starts TODAY! Lost 25lbs before Arianna and gained it back with her. I am 7lbs away from being where I was before and plan on losing about 35lbs after I reach that goal. Wish me luck :)

So my lil sis sent me this pic (she's my right-hand (wo)man for my lil girl's 1st bday) and I think I will be incorporating it into the party somehow...I'm super excited!!!

Who would have known planning my baby's 1st birthday would be just as exciting as planning MY WEDDING?! HA! (I think I've spent more time on it than my wedding...shh...don't tell the hubby!) But it's also just as frustrating. Sometimes I feel like I'm one of those crazy brides (CRAZY MOMMA...EVEN WORSE!) from one of those wedding shows!
I've been looking online for ideas (I've become addicted to ETSY!) & I'm proud to say that I've done alot of stuff already on my own. On my way to becoming Mrs. Crafty! (Pics coming soon!!!) Yesterday I came accross some party pics and the favors were outrageous but I'm not hatin', if I had the resources I'd be right there with that Mommy :) I need some ideas for some favors of my own! I have the bags & tags for the favors but no favors :(
Well I have much to do...party favors, hats, decor...being a Mommy is awesome :)
